What Exactly is Organisational  Development? Do I need it?

What it is

Organisational development is a continuous improvement process, that looks at the whole organisation to identify overall effectiveness and where change needs to be planned for, and implemented.

Do You Need it?

  • Are you feeling overwhelmed or uncertain about your organisation?
  • Do you feel anxious when you think about everything on your to-do list?
  • Know you need to change something, but you have no idea what?
  • Do you feel like you’re working endless hours, for little reward?
  • Are you lacking clarity and know you need someone to guide you?
  • Want to do more good with your business, but don’t know where to begin?

Our Approach to Coaching

Because every business is different, every coaching program has a unique focus and approach.

We always start with a no-obligation consult.  That’s where we find out if we’re really suited for working together – that’s for both of us!

We guarantee that we’re not going to waste your time or your money.  This is an investment into yourself and into your organisation, and time is valuable for each of us.

You may be eligible for funding for us to work with you as a registered service provider via the Regional Business Partner Network. To apply for funding go here.

My business had reached a point that I needed coaching to work on next steps and clarify the direction I wanted to move in, and after researching many of the options available I was drawn to Sel’s warm approachability and impact focus.

It was one of the best decisions I have made for both my business and my career. Sel helped me focus, understand and value my strengths, and gave me tools for both big picture strategic planning and everyday time management and productivity. Her warmth and compassion allowed me to show up as myself to our sessions, and be open and vulnerable about where I was personally and professionally, which meant we could make real progress.

To anyone who wants a coach that values the big picture of how your business, social enterprise or charity fits into building a better world, while also honouring you as a person, I cannot recommend Sel highly enough.

He mana tō te kupu – words hold great power.

#MANAvation had the honour of Sel leading us through the process of bringing life to the ‘why’ behind what we do as a bi-cultural organisation through the power of story telling. Sel provided us with the tools to simply yet beautifully articulate our messaging in a way that put ‘he tangata – the people’ at the center of our story and above all, showcase how we could utilise our skills as solutions to a wide spread audience.

I would highly recommend Sel to anyone looking for a truly bi-cultural view that supports anyone and everyone to tell their story.
