Inclusive leadership

Because leadership is a behaviour, not a position

Are you a leader, or a manager in masquerade?

Great leaders aren’t born, they’re the result of hard work and continuous improvement.

Inclusive leadership is about ensuring people have the best chance of participating, fairly with equal opportunity to succeed. The way we lead (intentionally or not) with values, is key to how effectively trust is built and how this flows through to the performance of both people and business.

Whether you’re a sole operator, or in charge of multiple teams of people, an inclusive leadership approach is an important capability to help your business adapt to diverse customers, ideas and markets.

People in positions of leadership aren’t always equipped with the necessary skills for great results.

If performance is an issue, the first step should be to look inwards. Is it with the individual, or is it layered within the organisation?

Leadership skills can be taught. Inclusive leadership is the result of specific, targeted learning and development.

If you’re serious about improving workplace culture, about improving personal and business performance in all areas, and if you’re ready to commit to making driving more equitable results for everyone in the business, then inclusive leadership coaching is absolutely the place to start.

But, there’s a catch.

You’ve got to be prepared to unlearn things you know, and challenge the way you’ve always done things.

What’s involved?

Coaching is a process. I can teach you things quickly, but the real magic comes from you taking time to think between sessions, testing and iterating. It’s a process of active learning, and it takes time and commitment to really see magic.

I offer a free “fit-check” kōrero first.  These help me to ask targeted questions to find out more about your situation.  They also help us to discover if we “vibe”.

I don’t like wasting peoples money or either of our time, so if I can’t help you then I’ll recommend other people that will.

I’m good at my job, and I’m bloody brilliant at it when there is a fit.

Tailored coaching focused on inclusive leadership and underpinned by the principles of emotional intelligence, starts at $6,500 (excl GST) for a three-month program of weekly one-one sessions online via Zoom.

Group sessions are held in person only, across a number of days, and will vary in price and time commitment depending on the size of the group and location.
